Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy · Halifax, NS

Pelvic health care that starts with your story.

Sara Jane Pyke, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist

Hi, I'm Sara — I take time to understand what's actually going on.

So much of good care comes down to time and attention. Every appointment is one-on-one, unhurried, and built around what matters to you — whether that's preparing for birth, healing afterward, calming pelvic pain, or getting back to being active. No rushing. Just a clear, practical plan and someone in your corner.

A little about me.

I completed my Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University and my Bachelor of Kinesiology from Acadia — where I also worked as a Student Therapist with the Acadia Varsity Women's Rugby Team. That experience lit up my interest in helping people move well and recover fully, and eventually led me to pelvic health.

My approach is exercise-focused, and I encourage clients to take an active role in their recovery. I love treating hands-on — with individualized exercise prescription and a strong focus on client education. I also draw on dry needling, manual therapy, and soft tissue techniques to help people get back to their regular activities as soon as possible.

  • MSc Physiotherapy, Dalhousie · BKin, Acadia University
  • Pelvic Health Levels certified · orthopaedic and sport rehab background
  • Special interest in persistent pelvic pain and returning athletes to full movement
